A 15-year-old boy is out of hospital after a shooting in Saskatoon’s Exhibition neighbourhood Thursday.
Just after 3 p.m., officers found the boy suffering from they believed to be gunshot wound on St. Charles Avenue near Hilliard Street.
The teen was taken to Royal University Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police didn’t confirm whether the incident was a shooting until a news release Friday morning.
Officers are now interviewing possible witnesses and investigators are also pursuing other leads, including a collection of surveillance video from the area.
A 650 CKOM reporter on scene Thursday noted the Saskatoon police gang unit also responded.
