Two people are dead after crashes on Saskatchewan highways.
A 17-year-old boy was killed in a crash north of Prince Albert last week.
According to a statement released Monday by the Saskatchewan RCMP, officers got a report of the collision at the intersection of White Star Road and Lempereur Road on Thursday at around 5:50 p.m.

“Investigation determined an SUV and a car collided,” the RCMP said.
“The driver of the car was declared deceased by EMS at the scene. He has been identified as a 17-year-old from the RM of Paddockwood. His family has been notified.”
The woman who was driving the SUV was taken to a hospital for treatment after the crash, the Mounties said, and her injuries were not believed to be life threatening.
There were no passengers in either vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation, the RCMP said, with help from a police collision reconstruction expert.
Buffalo Narrows man dead after single-vehicle rollover on Highway 106
A single-vehicle rollover on Highway 106 claimed the life of a 22-year-old man on Sunday.
According to the RCMP, officers got a report of the rollover a few kilometres east of the intersection with Highway 135 at around 11:40 a.m.
Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded, but the 22-year-old man was declared dead at the scene. A woman who was a passenger was assessed by paramedics.
“Pelican Narrows RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the RCMP said in a statement.
