A few Saskatchewan products are hoping to have their names called at the 2025 NHL Entry Draft.
In total, 67 players from the WHL were included in the NHL Central Scoutings final rankings. Eight of those players are originally from Saskatchewan.
Brandon Wheat Kings centre, Roger McQueen, is the highest-ranked Saskatchewan product in the draft. The Saskatoon product is the eighth-ranked North American skater. McQueen only played in 17 games due to an injury but recorded 10 goals and 10 assists in those games.
Centre Cole Reschny is from Macklin, Sask, and is the 25th-ranked skater. The centre had 92 points in 62 games for the Victoria Royals.
Meadow Lake’s Dawson Gerwing is the 99th-ranked skater and spent time with the Swift Current Broncos (27 games) and Kelowna Rockets (31 games). He has 28 points in those games.
Regina Pats’s defenceman, Reese Hamilton, is on the list. The Whitewood, Sask, product is the 113th-ranked prospect.

Hamilton was traded from the Calgary Hitmen to Regina in the deal that included Tanner Howe to Calgary. Hamilton had 11 points in 59 games last season.
Brandon right-winger and Wilcox product Joby Baumuller has 34 points in 59 games. He is ranked 167th.
Pats’ defenceman and Regina product Kolten Bridgeman is the 190th-ranked skater. He had seven points in 63 games.
Clavet’s Carsen Adair has nine points in 66 games as the defenceman played for the Lethbridge Hurricanes this season. He is ranked 203.
The only Saskatchewan-born goaltender in the rankings is Prince Albert’s Jayden Kraus. Kraus had a 25-8-3 record with the Royals while sporting a .908 save percentage en route to being named the 12th-ranked goaltender.

Players who play for Saskatchewan-based WHL teams but are not originally from the province are forward Lynden Lakovic (Moose Jaw Warriors, ranked 14), defenceman Peyton Kettles (Swift Current Broncos, rank 39), left-winger David Lewandowski (Saskatoon Blades, ranked 51), right-winger Luke Mistelbacher (Swift Current Broncos, ranked 93), defenceman Josh McGregor (Swift Current, ranked 111), defenceman Aiden Ziprick (Moose Jaw, ranked 162), centre Hayden Harsanyi (Saskatoon, ranked 187), defenceman Grayson Burzynski (Swift Current, ranked 191), and defenceman Connor Schmidt (Moose Jaw, ranked 213).
