Regina Police Service confirmed on Monday that the person whose body was pulled out of a creek on the weekend was a man who had been missing since last year.
RPS said on April 13 that officers were called out to the creek near McCarthy Boulevard and Brunskill Place close to A.E. Wilson Park around 9 a.m. for a body that had been found.
On April 14, police said the body belonged to Montana Fehr, 23, who was last seen on November 10, 2024. Fehr was the subject of a missing person investigation, police said.
RPS added that there was no evidence of a criminal aspect in the case but Saskatchewan Coroners Service was helping to clarify what happened and the investigation was ongoing.
