A three-vehicle crash left an 81-year-old man dead and two other people in hurt on Monday.
According to the RCMP, the crash happened about 11 kilometres west of Kindersley on Highway 7, shortly before 9 p.m. The Mounties said the truck was broken down on the highway when a car crashed into it.

“Subsequently, a second car collided with the first car,” the RCMP said in a statement.
“The driver of the truck, who was outside of his vehicle at the time of the collision, was declared deceased by EMS at the scene.”
Police said the truck driver was from Alberta, and his family has been notified of his death.
“The male driver of the first car and the female driver of the second car were both transported to hospital by EMS with injuries described as non-life threatening in nature,” the RCMP added.
While the highway was temporarily closed in the aftermath of the crash, the RCMP said the route has since reopened to traffic.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
