“We’re so excited to present our 2025 ticketed line-up,” Shannon Josdal, the festival’s executive director, said in a statement.
“This line-up features a strong mix of local, Canadian, and international artists spanning several genres. It features plenty of incredible jazz artists too, some of whom will be playing in Saskatoon for the first time.”
The Victoria Park shows include performances by Wolf Willow, Julian Taylor, William Prince and Allison Russell on July 9. On July 10, The Blue Mules, Garret T. Willie, Barney Bentall and Jimmie Vaughan & The Tilt-A-Whirl Band will take the stage. On July 11, the Victoria Park stage will welcome Marissa Burwell, Sophie B. Hawkins, Paula Cole and Chantal Kreviazuk. Then, on July 12, Nick Faye, Ayla Tesler-Mabé, Katie Tupper and Lake Street Dive will perform in the park.
The festival’s “Strictly Jazz Series” at the Bassment includes performances from Anthony D’Alessandro Quartet ft. Benny Benack III on July 3, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio on July 4, Jill Barber on July 5, and Hutchinson Andrew Trio: Tribute to Tommy Banks Featuring P.J. Perry, Al Muirhead & Mallory Chipman on July 6.
The Broadway Theatre will host the Joshua Redman Quartet on July 8, followed by the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra and Saskatoon Jazz Orchestra’s presentation of “Paris on the Prairies.”
This year’s festival will once gain use a day pass system for the shows in the park, meaning festival goers can buy a day pass for any of the four days to get into all of that day’s ticketed performances. Individual tickets are required to attend the shows at the Bassment and Broadway Theatre.
Day passes to the Victoria Park shows range from $70 to $85 for adults, and tickets for the shows at the Bassment cost $45. Ticket sales open on Monday.
The festival will also feature free programming in Victoria Park from July 6-9, and other free performances at pop-up locations around the city from July 4-13 – the schedule for those shows is expected to be unveiled in April.
In addition to the musical performances, the main festival site in the park will also feature a food truck village, artisan market, family fun area, yoga in the park, and more.
“We’ve had such a great response to the festival over the past couple of years from everyone – our patrons, artists, volunteers, partners, and more,” Josdal added.
