At the time, extreme cold warnings were in effect for much of Saskatchewan.
Police said officers soon got a second report about a break-in on the same street. Officers confirmed that a break-in had occurred, then entered the building where they arrested the 25-year-old man “without incident.”
According to police, the man broke multiple windows, causing roughly $5,000 in damages.
The man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for “several cuts and scrapes,” and police said he’s now facing a break-and-enter charge.
