Manhunt begun after multiple stabbings on Big River First Nation and Victoire

Big River RCMP have responded to multiple stabbing incidents on Big River First Nation, (also known as Whitefish) and Victoire, which is about an hour northwest of Prince Albert.

Big River RCMP said two suspects — Ryan Lachance and Kenneth Joseph — are at large, considered dangerous and have weapons.

Two pair may have fled on foot but may also be travelling in a Black Kia Optima 649 NPP – SK or a greyish BMW SUV.

People are being told to secure all premises, and report any suspicious activity.

Lachance and Joseph should not be approached, police said, but people should advise the RCMP if you are aware of their location.
