A tow truck driver was flown to hospital by STARS air ambulance with serious injuries on Thursday, Saskatchewan RCMP said.
Police said in a news release on Feb. 14 that a tow truck and a semi trailer crashed on Highway 39, about six kilometers southeast of Midale around 1:15 p.m. on Feb. 13.

The crash was attended by Estevan RCMP as well as STARS and local emergency services.
RCMP said the driver of the semi trailer was taken to Estevan hospital with minor injuries, and both drivers were the sole occupants of the vehicles.
Police said that Highway 39 has since reopened after Estevan and Weyburn RCMP collision reconstructionists were at the scene and the investigation was ongoing.
Police provided no update on the tow truck driver’s condition on Friday.
