Mounties seized thousands of illegal cigarettes, along with nearly two kilograms of drugs and several weapons after executing a search warrant at a Saskatchewan home.
According to the RCMP, the search happened on Tuesday at a home northeast of Humboldt as part of an ongoing investigation. At the home, police seized a kilogram of methamphetamine, 801 grams of cocaine, 35,000 illegal cigarettes, four guns and bear spray.

A 59-year-old man from Humboldt is now facing charges of drug trafficking, along with possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000. He’s set to appear in a Humboldt courtroom in March.
The RCMP said officers also arrested a man and a woman during a traffic stop near the home that was searched. Inside the vehicle, the RCMP said officers discovered “approximately $42,245 in cash, a small amount of crack cocaine, and additional evidence of drug trafficking. The woman was released without charges, but the RCMP said further charges “are anticipated.”
