The Mounties said police could not provide any updates on the child’s condition due to privacy considerations.
The 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene, and now faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault by choking, and failing to comply with a probation order.
He’s set to appear in a Yorkton courtoom on Friday, the RCMP said.
