Saskatchewan RCMP are yet again cautioning drivers on the roads.
Barry Wright passed the crash on the Trans Canada Highway east of Moose Jaw in the westbound lanes between Belle Plaine and Highway 39.
He told 650 CKOM that he counted six vehicles in the ditch including two semis
Chris Apiricio is travelling from Regina toward Moose Jaw and said there are white-out conditions on the road.
“There’s not any more snow coming down, it’s swirling and blowing,” he said.
The RCMP has confirmed there are multiple calls in the ditch and urges drivers not to travel in the area.
In the Southern part of the province, RCMP are saying road conditions and/or visibility are being impacted by:
- Ice
- Snow-covered lanes
- Drifting and blowing snow
- Heavy snow
- RCMP confirm 2 men and 2 women were killed on Carry the Kettle
- Police investigating after second body found in Fairhaven
