A 22-year-old man was arrested on Saturday night after allegedly pointing an imitation firearm at a cab driver to escape paying his fare.
According to police, officers were called to a home on First Avenue North at around 9 p.m.

“When officers arrived, the suspect exited the residence and was arrested,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
“A search warrant was executed at the home where police located and seized an imitation firearm.”
Police said the 22-year-old is now facing four weapons charges, including pointing a firearm.
“He also had multiple outstanding warrants and was charged with Obstruction and Breach of Probation,” the police service added.
