In Mount Royal, a 25-year-old man from Saskatoon was charged with five firearms-related offences by the Saskatoon Police Service.
Around 8 p.m. officers responded to an apartment building in the 1700 block of 22nd Street West.
In a police release, officers said, ” All occupants were taken into custody from inside the suite.”Police seized two loaded sawed-off shotguns from inside.

The woman had non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital.
According to a police news release, officers located the boy in the building with the knife in addition to a bag of ammunition and cocaine.
Friday, Jan. 10, 2025
A 17-year-old boy has been charged by Saskatoon Police Service with Possession of a Dangerous Weapon and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
The incident happened in Westmount on Friday, Jan. 10, just past the 4 p.m. mark according to a news release.
Officers responded to a restaurant in the 1400 block of 22nd Street West
“The caller stated that an individual had threatened people inside while wielding a machete.”
A total of four people fled the scene before police reached the location, however, all four were eventually arrested.
Officers with the Guns and Gangs Unit made the arrests near Avenue O and 21st Street West, resulting in them seizing a machete in the waistband of the 17-year-old.
