The Saskatoon Fire Department had a busy afternoon on Jan. 10 where it responded to two separate calls.
The first call came at 12:37 p.m. for a suspicious package on the 800 block of 51st St E.
The HAZMAT team entered the building to identify what was in the suspicious package.
The product was tested and found not to be a hazard.

The package was turned over to the Saskatoon Police Service for further investigation.
Later that afternoon at 1:32 p.m. fire responded to a house fire on the 1200 block of Ave E North.
The fire was completely put out and no one was inside at the time.
A fire investigator arrived to examine the cause of the fire and determine a damage estimate.
