U.S.A beat Canada 4-1 in a battle of power-plays at the IIHF World Juniors Hockey Tournament in Ottawa on Tuesday night.
U.S.A outscored Canada with the man advantage in the penalty-riddled game, going 3-for-7 while Canada went 1-for-3. Canada took 22 minutes of penalties in the game.

For the Americans, Cole Hutson, Danny Nelson, and Cole Eiserman all put one in the net, with Ryan Leonard clinching the win with an empty-netter.
Canada’s sole goal was scored by Bradly Nadeau on a power-play early in the third period, with assists from Saskatoon native Brayden Yager and Saskatoon Blades player Tanner Molendyk.
Canadian goaltender Carter George stopped 26 of 28 shots for Canada, while U.S.A netminder Trey Augustine made 38 saves.
U.S.A’s win means the team tops Group A with 10 points, while Canada will finish third behind Finland and meet Czechia in the playoff round on Thursday.
