A 13-year-old has been charged with assault with a weapon after allegedly spraying bear spray on a City of Regina bus.
This happened on Christmas Eve just before 7 p.m.
Police were called to the area of Broad Street and 12th Avenue for a report that a group of youth entered a city bus and allegedly sprayed what looked like bear spray.

Police and EMS attended the scene and provided medical care to the affected passengers.
Police located one youth who matched the suspect description and upon search the youth was found with a cansiter of bear spray and was arrested.
The youth, who cannot be named under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, made their first court appearance Thursday morning.
The investigation is still on-going.
