Four players from Saskatchewan will represent Canada at the 2024-25 IIHF World Juniors in Ottawa.
Berkly Catton (Spokane Chiefs), Brayden Yager (Lethbridge Hurricanes) and Caden Price (Kelowna Rockets) all from Saskatoon have made the roster which will represent Canada starting on Boxing Day against Finland.

The three players have a history together as all grew up playing U18 AAA hockey with the Saskatoon Contacts.
Prince Albert native Tanner Howe (Calgary Hitmen) was also named to the team.
Saskatoon Blades defenceman Tanner Molendyk was named to Team Canada for the second consecutive year. He didn’t play last year because of an injury.
Saskatoon native Riley Heidt was cut from the team. He is currently 19th in Western Hockey League (WHL) scoring with 37 points in 22 games. He plays for the Prince George Cougars.
