Guns and Drugs: Police arrest 2 men in Briarwood traffic stop

A 37-year-old man and a 32-year-old man were arrested following a traffic stop on Dec. 3 by Saskatoon Police Service.
At the intersection of Briarwood Road and Blackthorn Crescent, the driver was arrested after exiting the vehicle for outstanding warrants. Police located a switchblade on him.
In the news release, officers said “The passenger of the vehicle was also arrested for breach of conditions.” Police found a handgun in the 37-year-old’s pocket as well as Methamphetamine, Cocaine and Fentanyl.
