An RCMP drug investigation in North Battleford led to 16 arrests, and three people are now facing charges.
According to the RCMP, officers executed search warrants at two homes in North Battleford on November 28. One in the 800 block of 107th Street and one in the 1000 block of 105th Street.
“While executing the search warrants, officers located and seized methamphetamine and other evidence of drug trafficking, three firearms, ammunition, three replica firearms and body armour,” the RCMP said in a statement.

A total of 16 people were arrested at the two homes, but 13 of them were later released without charges.
A 27-year-old North Battleford woman is facing charges of possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of an unauthorized firearm, unsafe storage of firearms, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
A 32-year-old Kinistino man is charged with possession of weapons in violation of a court order, possession of an unauthorized, prohibited weapon, unsafe storage of firearms, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Lastly, a 22-year-old North Battleford woman is charged with possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking.
The Mounties asked the public to report any information on drug trafficking, illegal firearms or gang activity.
“Information can be submitted confidentially and you may be rewarded for your information,” the RCMP said. “Your name may be kept confidential and you will not be required to appear in court.”
