Legendary rock group Def Leppard will headline the 2025 edition of Country Thunder Saskatchewan, along with Jason Aldean and Bailey Zimmerman.
The festival, which runs from July 10-13 in Craven, is crossing genres in its 42nd year.
“We’re thrilled to bring this incredible list of talent to Saskatchewan this year,” Troy Vollhoffer, Country Thunder’s CEO, said in a statement.
“Not only can we boast that Jason Aldean and Bailey Zimmerman, two of the biggest names in country music, will be headlining our main stage but we also have Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Def Leppard stepping onto our stage for the first time. Without question, this will be the most epic rock’n’roll party this valley has ever seen!”

Over their long and storied history, Def Leppard has sold more than 110 million albums, and the group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2019. According to a statement from the festival’s organizers, the band is considered one of the greatest live rock acts of all time.
Country Thunder Saskatchewan attendees will be treated to electrifying performances of the most iconic songs of this generation with ‘Pour Some Sugar On Me,’ ‘Foolin” and many more.”
Aldean, who has recorded more than 28 number-one singles and was named the ACM Artist of the Decade, will be returning to the Country Thunder stage for the first time since 2015.
“With multiple sold-out tours, Aldean will bring his award-winning entertainment to the Saskatchewan Valley this summer,” festival organizers wrote.
Zimmerman, a rising country star, has been making a big name for himself with his debut album ‘Religiously.’
“The 2023 Billboard Country Rookie of the Year has toured globally, selling out his first ever international headline tour this year, in addition to joining Morgan Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour, where he brought his show-stopping performances to stadiums every night,” the organizers noted.
“Zimmerman is now headlining festivals around the world and fans can look forward to an unforgettable performance by the young country star.”
The festival will open with the Juno-nominated Hunter Brothers headlining the Kick-Off Party, and will also feature performances from Nate Smith, Tyler Hubbard, Kip Moore, Sara Evans, Mackenzie Carpenter, Tim Hicks, James Barker Band, The Road Hammers, Jess Moskaluke, Owen Riegling, Tommy Charles and Hailey Benedict.
