Saskatoon firefighters came to the rescue on Monday after a person was dumped from a recycling bin into a Loraas truck.
According to the Saskatoon Fire Department, firefighters were called to the truck’s location at 1100 block of University Drive on Monday morning at around 9:30 a.m.

“Firefighters found a driver of a Loraas truck on scene and a patient inside the Loraas truck that had been dumped in out of a recycling bin,” the fire department explained in a statement.
“Firefighters and rescue firefighters used tools to extricate the individual and a rope system to lower the patient down from the Loraas truck.”
The person was taken to hospital for treatment after they were removed from the truck, the fire department noted.
