Officers with the Saskatoon Police Service’s Crime Reduction Team arrested a 40-year-old man this week, seizing cash, cocaine, and a Lincoln SUV in the process.
According to police, a drug investigation led to the man’s arrest in the 200 block of Fairmont Drive in the city’s Fairhaven neighbourhood at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday night, and officers seized both cocaine and cash.

Officers later executed a search warrant at an address on nearby Miyo-Wâhkôhtowin Road.
Police said the investigation resulted in the seizure of $2,655 in cash along with 97 grams of powder cocaine and a 2010 Lincoln MKX.
“The 40-year-old Saskatoon man has been charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of the proceeds of crime under $5,000,” the police service said in a statement.
