Saskatoon Fire respond to four fires in the Mayfair neighbourhood

It was a busy morning for the Saskatoon Fire Department (SFD).

In just over an hour, SFD responded to four different fires in the Mayfair neighbourhood.

At 9:21 a.m. SFD responded to a detached garage fire on the 1500 block of Avenue E North. The fire spread to the adjacent garage across the alley on Avenue F North. Both fires were brought under control.

At 9:53 a.m. SFD responded to a deck fire on the 1400 block of Avenue D North. The fire was put out by the homeowner. SFD ensured all hot spots were completely out.

At 10:01 a.m. SFD responded to a fence on fire on the 100 block of 31st Street West. The fire was put out.

At 10:37 a.m. SFD responded to another fence on fire on 29th Street West. The fire was put out.

It is unknown if any or all of the fires are related. People are asked to report any suspicious activity to police.
