A 30-year-old man is facing an assault charge after allegedly attacking a 14-year-old girl in Saskatoon’s Fairhaven neighbourhood.
Police said officers were called to the 400 block of Fairmont Drive at around 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday for an assault in progress.

“Upon arrival, officers learned that a verbal confrontation had occurred between multiple persons before a 30-year-old male physically assaulted a 14-year-old female,” the police service said in a statement.
“The youth received what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries as a result.”
The 30-year-old is now facing a charge of assault causing bodily harm.
