A 19-year-old man allegedly assaulted two Saskatoon police officers during his arrest after a domestic disturbance on Thursday morning.
According to police, officers were called to an address on Middleton Crescent in the city’s Nutana Park neighbourhood just before 12:30 a.m. for a report of a domestic disturbance in progress.

“Upon arrival, officers identified a 19-year-old man believed to be under the influence of an intoxicant causing a disturbance within the residence,” the police service explained in a statement.
“The man refused to comply with police commands and, upon attempting to effect his arrest, assaulted two police officers.”
He’s been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer.
The police service didn’t say if anyone was hurt during the arrest.
