It was a busy weekend for Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) dealing with two stabbings and two arrests for CO2 firearms.
Police have made no arrests in the stabbings.
The first incident, on Sept. 27 around 8 p.m., SPS said officers were called to the 300 block of Avenue B South in Riversdale after receiving a report that a man had been stabbed.
The second report on Sept. 29, saw SPS officers called to the 300 block of Avenue I South in Pleasant Hill around 10:40 p.m. after a report that a man had been stabbed.
Both victims were taken to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
SPS is still investigating both stabbings and anyone with information is asked to contact police at 306-975-8300 or to inform Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or at saskcrimestoppers.com.
Arrests were made in two incidents that involved CO2 firearms, however.
SPS said the first arrest was made when police responded to a domestic dispute on Sept. 28.
Police said the dispute was reported to be happening in an alley in the 2800 block of Rusholme Road in Mount Royal around 9 p.m.
A 17-year-old was detained for an assault investigation and officers found he was carrying a CO2 firearm. He was arrested and faces of carrying and concealing a weapon.
Then, on Sept. 29, SPS received a report around 8:40 p.m. that a man had a gun in the 2200 block of 22nd Street West, also in Mount Royal.
When they found the 21-year-old man, he was carrying a CO2 firearm, police said.
He was arrested and is facing charges of possession of a weapon, and concealing a weapon.
