A 31-year-old man is dead after an ATV crash on Highway 905 in Saskatchewan, and the driver is now facing criminal charges.
According to the RCMP, officers were called to a stretch of the highway between Black Lake and Stony Rapids at around 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday. At the scene, police and paramedics found the injured passenger, who was taken to hospital and later declared dead.

The passenger was a 31-year-old man from Black Lake, the Mounties said, and his family has been notified of the death.
The RCMP said the driver of the all-terrain vehicle, 30-year-old Jacy Yooya of Black Lake, is now charged with dangerous driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death, resisting or obstructing a peace officer, and failure to stop after an accident resulting in death.
Yooya was scheduled to appear on court on Thursday, police said.
The crash on Tuesday marks the second ATV-related death in Saskatchewan in less than a week.
On Saturday, a 14-year-old girl from Flying Dust First Nation was killed when an ATV was taken into the ditch while allegedly fleeing from police. A second person was treated at the scene for minor injuries.
