Thursday and Friday the Saskatoon Police Service had several calls regarding bear spray.
September 12
8:10 a.m.
Police responded to a report of an injured person after someone allegedly bear-sprayed a house in the 1300 block of Idylwyld Drive North. The suspect fled and the victim was treated on scene by paramedics.
8:00 p.m.
Police received a call about an elderly man being bear-sprayed in the 3100 block of Laurier Drive. The suspects fled prior to police arriving on the scene. The 74-year-old was treated on the scene by paramedics.
8:20 p.m.
While using city transit a person was bear sprayed. No suspect was located and the victim was treated on scene by paramedics.
9:10 p.m.
In the 3300 block of Fairlight Drive for a report of a man being bear sprayed. The release said officers are trying to retrieve video surveillance of the incident.
September 13
5:20 a.m.
In the 300 block of Circle Drive West police recieved a call regarding a man being bear sprayed. He was also treated by paramedics on scene.
