Over $70,000 and nearly 8,000 grams of drugs seized in Saskatoon

Two men have been arrested after a drug trafficking investigation.
The investigation was concluded by members of the Saskatoon Police Service Crime Reduction Team (CRT).
On Aug. 30, members of the CRT and Tactical Support Unit (TSU) executed a search warrant in the 1800 block of Idylwyld Drive North.
A handful of items were seized:
$77,546 CAD
5385 grams of methamphetamine
1078 grams of fentanyl
980 grams of carfentanyl
515 grams of cocaine
Assorted paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking
A 26-year-old man and a 44-year-old man are facing charges relating to three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking a controlled substance, proceeds of crime over $5,000 and possession of a controlled substance.
