Lauren Besse, 35, appeared in Saskatoon provincial court on Monday charged with first-degree murder after a man died in the RM of Corman Park on Friday.
Warman RCMP said in a news release that officers received a report of an injured man at a Saskatoon-area home on August 23.
The man, 42, was found dead, and police said Besse was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Police said the alleged victim would not be named at the request of his family, but court documents identified him as Daniel Magowan.
Besse is scheduled to return to court on September 9.
