“I am so excited… I love my team!” exclaimed Boesong.
Boesong said she’s been passionate about basketball since she was very young.
“I have been playing this sport mostly all my life. I really love it. I wouldn’t change it for anything else,” she shared.
Boesong, who is heading into Grade 10 this fall, said she hopes her success in the Urban Games will help push her basketball career forward.
“We have an opportunity to showcase our talent to everyone out there and to show them how good we really are,” said Boesong.
“Hopefully, I do play on a university level. A scholarship would be really cool too… I think this could be a really good exposure opportunity.”
