The owner of Pete’s Terrace, a family restaurant at Waskesiu Lake has been arrested and charged with one count of sexual assault, according to RCMP.
On July 19, RCMP received a report of an alleged sexual assault in Waskesiu, the resort village in Prince Albert National Park. After an investigation, police arrested 52-year-old Dory Graae at his business.
Pete’s Terrace is a popular stop for tourists and its Facebook page says it has been serving in the community since 1989.

RCMP also executed a search warrant at a residence in Waskesiu as part of the investigation. There police allegedly found a small amount of cocaine and trafficking paraphernalia. Police also charged Graae with one count of trafficking as a result.
Graae is set to appear in Montreal Lake court on September 12.
According to a statement from Parks Canada, a decision was made to ban Graae from Prince Albert National Park for up to one year.
“The decision to ban the individual from the national park will have no bearing on that individual’s current license, lease, or rental agreements with Parks Canada,” the statement read.
“It will be up to the individual to make arrangements, to ensure the continuity of their businesses during the period of their ban from the park.”
