Regina’s Judy Kochylema says she’s “happy to never worry about paying a bill again” after winning more than half a million dollars through a VLT jackpot.
According to Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Kochylema claimed $577,507.86 after winning the Vault Breaker jackpot at Westside Pizza in Regina on August 7.
“There were congratulations all around,” Kochylema said in a statement. “It was a very active crowd cheering me on.”
She said she’s going to help out her children and grandchildren, and bank the remainder of her windfall.
Kochylema is the second person to win the Vault Breaker this month. On Aug. 1, Christina Clarke from Stony Rapids won $1,448,697.88 after a win in Saskatoon.
On that same day, four women in Saskatoon claimed $1,449,418.33 on a slot machine at Rock Creek Woodsmoke Grill & Bar.
