A Stony Rapids woman was awarded $1,448,697.88 after winning a VLT jackpot at a Saskatoon restaurant.
According to the Western Canada Lottery Corporation, Christina Clarke won the Vault Breaker grand jackpot at Rock Creek Tap and Grill on August 1. Clarke said she was playing along with her two sisters and her mom, taking turns pressing the button after they each put $20 into the machine.

“When it hit the grand jackpot, we all erupted in screams,” Clarke said in a statement. “It was very exciting.”
Clarke said she isn’t sure what she’ll be doing with all of the money, but plans to ensure her mom is comfortable while helping her sisters with their education, their kids’ education, and home renovations.
Vault Breaker links 4,200 VLTS in 270 communities around Saskatchewan. Since June of 2017, there have been 44 winners for a total of $42.8 million.
