A 23 and 29-year-old man are facing robbery charges after stealing a man’s vehicle on Wednesday night.
According to the Saskatoon Police Service, multiple men approached the 56-year-old man’s vehicle near the Circle Centre Mall parking lot at 10 p.m. on Wednesday, pulled him out of it and drove off with it after.
As the men fled, police were able to track the suspects using the Onstar system to its location. The location led them to it parked in the 900 block of Central Avenue.

As officers approached, the suspects tried to flee, but police said the “Onstar immediately disabled the vehicle as it began to accelerate and the suspects then fled on foot. ”
The vehicle was still able to roll forward before it ran into three-parked vehicles and came to a stop.
The suspects fled then attempted to escape on foot and were eventually caught.
