Two men have now been charged with sexual assault after an incident at Saskatoon Ex on Tuesday.
Saskatoon Police Service said on Friday that a 25-year-old man was charged, then later police said a second man, aged 32, has also been charged.
Police said in a news release that officers patrolling the Ex were notified of a sexual assault just before midnight on Aug. 6.
Police said a 16-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by a man she did not know before that night on the fairground. She was taken to hospital by police to receive medical attention.
Police found and arrested the man on Wednesday.
Both men were scheduled to appear before a Justice of the Peace on Saturday.
No further details were provided.
Editor’s note: An earlier version of this file said the first man charged was aged 35. Police later corrected this information, he was in fact 25. We regret the error.
