Two men and a woman are facing dozens of criminal charges after a drug investigation led Saskatoon police to seize a trove of illegal items, including drugs, body armour and weapons.
According to police, the investigation into suspected methamphetamine, cocaine and fentanyl trafficking led officers to a home on 23rd Street West. Police served a warrant at the home on July 31, taking six people into custody in the process. The police service revealed details of the investigation for the first time on Wednesday.

Police said a search of the home “and an associated vehicle” turned up 241.2 grams of methamphetamine, 103.9 grams of fentanyl, 18.3 grams of cocaine, 1.2 grams of crack cocaine, three hydromorphone pills, and what police described as “paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.”
But the seizures didn’t end with drugs. According to police, officers also seized two sets of body armour, a 12-gauge sawed-off shotgun, a toy pistol, a replica shotgun, seven cell phones, a tablet computer and a laptop. A photo of the seized items shared by police also shows three cans of bear spray and a folding knife.
“As a result of this investigation, a 37-year-old man, 49-year-old woman, and 36-year-old man are facing charges relating to possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking, trafficking, possession of the proceeds of crime under $5000, as well as multiple firearms-related charges,” the police service said in a statement.
“In total, 36 Criminal Code charges were laid.”
