A 67-year-old man from the Battlefords is dead after a collision on Highway 687 on Wednesday.
According to the RCMP, a car and truck collided north of Denholm just before 7 a.m. The driver and only occupant of the car was declared dead at the scene by paramedics. His family has been notified of the death, the Mounties added.

The driver of the truck was taken to hospital, though police said their injuries weren’t considered life threatening.
“Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist,” the RCMP said in a statement.
