Officers with Saskatchewan’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE) have charged two individuals for allegedly possessing child pornography.
On Tuesday, 25-year-old Albert Wipf, a resident of the hamlet of Grasswood just outside of Saskatoon, was charged with one count of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available.

In a separate case on Wednesday, ICE officers charged 19-year-old Ren Edward Ruiz, a resident of Saskatoon, with two counts of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available.
Both men have already made their first court appearances, police said.
The Saskatchewan ICE Unit includes officers from the RCMP, the Regina Police Service, the Saskatoon Police Service, and the Prince Albert Police Service.
