The Saskatoon Police Major Crime Section has charged two people in relation to the seventh homicide of 2024.
A 33-year-old man and a 23-year-old man were charged with First-Degree Murder on July 17.
Saskatoon police said on April 16, Melissa Duquette was found dead April 15 in the basement of a house in the 3200 block of 33rd Street West in the Dundonald neighbourhood.

A third person has a warrant out for his arrest concerning this homicide. Police said, “28-year-old Kendell Ameech is also arrestable for this homicide.”
Police are asking the public to contact them or crime stoppers with any information on the 28-year-old’s whereabouts.
