A 23-year-old woman was seriously hurt on Sunday morning in a single-vehicle rollover near the intersection of Highway 5 and Highway 41, just east of Saskatoon.
According to police, officers found the vehicle in a ditch after it rolled several times and caught on fire.

“Saskatoon Fire was on scene to put out the fire and assist in extracting the driver from the vehicle,” the Saskatoon Police Service explained in a statement. “Medavie Health Services was then able to transport the driver to hospital with serious injuries.”
A dog, which was also inside the vehicle, was found dead at the scene, police noted.
The crash remains under police investigation.
