Disney characters packed the greens at the Saskatoon Golf and Country Club today for the Ronald McDonald House Golf Tournament.
This opener was a special one as golfers and supporters were joined by Ronald McDonald House Charity CEO Tammy Forrester. To kick off the event, Forrester announced two new houses will be built to support families in Regina and Prince Albert. Saskatoon

Forrester expressed it has been so important for the RMHC to continually support families across Canada. Forrester is excited to be able to provide more help those in need in Saskatchewan. For 34-years the Ronald McDonald House in Saskatoon has provided comfort and an affordable place to stay for families of children undergoing medical treatment for serious conditions.
Concept photos and floor plans were shared with visitors of the country club and will be officially published to the public within the next coming days.
Forrester said they would like to begin to break ground in both Regina and Prince Albert by this fall. Their team estimated the houses will be done between January and June of 2026.
The RMHC is has launched a campaign for 22 million dollars called Miles to Go to meet their project goal. The campaign says “every year over 5,000 children are admitted to hospitals in Saskatchewan belong to families who must travel more than 100 kilometre round trip.”
