Saskatoon Police say two male youths assaulted a 79-year-old man who was sitting on a bench outside of a hotel in the 600 block of Spadina Crescent East on Monday around 5 p.m.
The victim had non-life-threatening injuries. A 31-year-old woman then approached officers and reported she was sexually assaulted by the older teen.
As officers continued to investigate, they received a report a male youth had stolen a fire extinguisher from a mall and attempted to steal from a person in the 200 block of 1st Avenue South. Police arrested the suspects and found a knife and an imitation firearm.
