According to Sask. RCMP, the driver of a car that was involved in a crash with a semi on Highway 1 in Swift Current died in the crash.
The crash happened just before 4 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 1 and Grid Road #625 on the western edge of the city.
Mounties responded right away along with paramedics. The driver of the car was pronounced dead on scene — he was the only person in the vehicle at the time.
The man driving the car was identified as a 34-year-old man from Swift Current, though RCMP did not release his name.

The driver of the semi was assessed by paramedics on the scene.
RCMP said on Monday afternoon that the crash was still being investigated.
