It’s been 50 years since three people were murdered in a home in the 2700 Block of 20th Street West, in Saskatoon’s Meadowgreen neighbourhood.
Police said Thursday, the case is still open, and they’re looking for answers.
On May 30, 1974, 47-year-old Dorothy Cathcart (Hall), 41-year-old William Graham, and 58-year-old Frank Harder were found dead inside the home after police were called to do a welfare check. The three hadn’t been seen in some time.
Police said the back door had been forced open and, inside the home, the thermostat was set to “high.” A revolver and some casings were also recovered.
The Saskatoon Police Service believes someone may have information, even decades later, that could help solve the case.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Saskatoon Police or Crime Stoppers.
