A plan to steal from an ATM from a mall in Saskatoon was thwarted by police on Monday, leading to three arrests.
According to police, witnesses called in a tip after seeing two people using tools to get to an ATM inside a mall on Confederation Drive at around 4:30 a.m. Police didn’t name the mall, but the address given corresponds to Confederation Mall.
Police said the arriving officers spotted two men leaving the building, who matched the descriptions of the suspects. One of the men hopped into a waiting truck where he was quickly arrested, along with a woman who was driving. The other man was arrested on foot nearby.
