A pedestrian was badly injured after she was struck by a vehicle on Eighth Street East on Friday afternoon, but she’s now in stable condition.
According to police, officers were called to the scene near the intersection with Arlington Avenue just before 3 p.m. on Friday.

Police said the officers who first arrived found a 74-year-old woman suffering life-threatening injuries.
“She was transported to hospital by paramedics and her condition has since stabilized,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.
The investigation into the crash remains ongoing, police said.
