Traffic on two of Saskatoon’s main roads was backed up badly on Friday afternoon due to two separate crashes.
According to police, the northbound lanes and one southbound lane of Circle Drive were restricted after a crash near the Attridge Drive overpass.
Drivers were urged to use an alternate route “and avoid the area completely if possible.”
In a separate incident, police said a pedestrian was stuck by a vehicle near the intersection of Eighth Street and Arlington Avenue.
The eastbound lanes of Eighth Street are blocked off at Arlington Avenue, police said, “and drivers are asked to find an alternate route, or follow police instruction.”
“An update will be provided when available.”
