A 16-year-old girl is facing charges after she allegedly attacked three security guards at a Saskatoon hospital with bear spray.
Police said officers were called to the hospital on 20th Street West just after midnight on Sunday.
“While (en) route to the call, officers received an update that a female had bear sprayed three security guards and was in custody,” the Saskatoon Police Service said in a statement.

“Upon arrival, officers arrested the female.”
The girl has been charged with three counts of assault with a weapon, along with possession of a weapon and breaching court-ordered conditions.
Saskatchewan recently moved to increase penalties for crimes involving bear spray in urban areas, with fines going as high as $100,000.
